Bakes by Drae is a Big-Hearted Local Bakery in the Historic College Park Community! It is owned by Andrae Jones who started baking as a hobby and a form of stress relief during the pandemic. After friends and family members started making requests and offered to purchase his baked goods, he turned the hobby into a business and started selling cakes and cookies at festivals around the Atlanta metro area in 2023. In June of 2024 he was blessed to open a store at 1860 Harvard Avenue right off of Maine Street in Historic Park. Our bakery has gone back in time where delicious baked goods were delightfully displayed in the windows of the neighborhood bakeries in every community. It is a place where “customer servants” greet you with respect and kindness. Our baked goods come from recipes that were prepared by our family back in the day with natural wholesome ingredients and a lot of love! We have also included new school options that will one day become traditions for our vegan customers!
